My home is on the east coast, I'm not a huge fan of winter weather, but it certainly is pretty to look at.
(note to myself: I will post something from the beach I used to live at this summer. I live in Ohio, the beach is in Florida, so you'd think I'd be more enthusiastic about that, but I'm not)
This is my daughter, who is 16, that I have been working with on the sketches for the family portrait. She has been spending a lot of time at the beach with me so I took advantage of it. These two together make me smile.
Don't laugh but I don't think it's a great improvement. I think my eyes are set in my head and looking at these pictures made my eyes cross. There is an interesting effect in my eyes when I look in the mirror or a picture of myself, that causes me to either become more or less scared of myself, so I look at photos of myself and if I like them, look at them and smile at the person in the picture and if I don't like them, I don't like myself so it's important to keep doing that.
For the girls pictures, the main problem I had is I didn't take the time to have them sitting up straight and I have very little ideas of what kind of poses I wanted them to do. Because it was a family portrait, I really wanted them to look like a family. So I took two quick ones and put them all in with my boyfriend and two more. The one thing I know, is that my kids are really good at posing. My girls are really good at answering questions and they really have fun doing it.

Memory and immune functions following remote total body irradiation in the mouse.
The memory functions of the mouse thymus and the influence of whole body irradiation on these functions was studied. The responses of mice to a primary and a secondary antigenic challenge were studied. The results showed that the total body irradiation at a dose of 6.5 Gy had no significant effect on the primary or secondary responses in the thymus. However, a dose of 15 Gy resulted in impairment of the thymus immune response as indicated by a decreased primary response to a primary antigen. The secondary response to a secondary antigen was also impaired by the dose of 15 Gy. These results suggest that in the mouse the thymus is capable of mounting a secondary immune response after irradiation.Various types of ice cube trays and cooling systems are known in the art.
